Dear Nate, I wanted to thank you so much for a wonderful day whitewater rafting! My family went with North Creek Rafting Company on August 12, and Tim was our (excellent!) guide. You may recall that I booked just after you raised your fees, and you were kind enough to split the difference with me. We had such a great day - the price was well worth it. Hi Nate. We had a great time Sunday. Thank you for the trip. Rapids were crazy! But we made it through with many stories. Jason did an excellent job taking control and being very authoritative with us on this trip. That attitude was needed that day so everyone would participate at maximum potential to ensure a safe and fun trip. He took special care and interest in my young daughter, allowing her to sit next to him and to hit the deck on many of the waves because she was small in stature and also very scared. Having someone take interest in your daughter's safety was very appreciated as I was in the front of the boat. Also, I would like to thank you by having extra safety guides travel down the river with us. They really remind us of how professional your organization is that fun and safety go together. Hi Nate, This is Gordon from Bath, NY. I wanted to tell you again how much we appreciated and enjoyed our trip on the river last Tuesday, and more importantly, how impressed and thankful we were to have Evan, Wolfgang and Leia as guides. All three of them are knowledgeable, personable, professional and are an asset to your rafting company. On a very personal note, I want to mention specifically the incident where we were attempting to "surf" in some recirculating water and my wife Debbie and I fell out of the boat. I was the first to go and as soon as I resurfaced, I grabbed the chicken line. Before I knew it, Evan had me pulled back in the boat. Debbie banged into some rocks as the current took her down river a little way where Wolfgang pulled her into his boat. Meanwhile, Leia was quickly recovering our lost paddles. It took me a while to catch my breath and Debbie was a little shaken for a while but was fine after that. Here's where it gets personal. My physical activity is limited due to an inoperable heart condition that leaves me easily tired and short of breath. I try not to let it interfere with living my life. Whitewater rafting with our boys has been on my bucket list and I wanted to make it happen. This situation could have been worse, but thanks to Evan's immediate response and competence, everything was fine. You are fortunate to have Evan working for you. He is an excellent guide and will have a very successful future. Evan - I am eternally grateful for what you did for us and for the experience you gave us. We had such a good time. Dear Nate, I wanted to follow up to thank you for the terrific rafting experience & training last weekend. We raced out of there so quickly so that we could get the rental car back in time (and did, with less than 5 minutes to spare), but thought that the two days was just great. Dylan & Dean felt like they now have the tools to begin rowing with confidence and some basic understanding of how to maneuver the rafts. Hi, My name is Alyssa. I was with the Karolina group today, Saturday, September 26th of 2015. I just wanted to let you know that we had such a good time. This is probably going to the lady that met us there. We were late, not by our choice, and we were grateful for the warm welcome that we received when we arrived. You made us feel welcomed and got us suited up and ready to go. You were very patient with us and knew exactly what you were doing. You made us feel good about the company from the start even thought at first we were a little "eh" because of the way it looked when we arrived. So it started out great.. Then we had Frank as our guide. At first we were a little intimidated. But as we got to know him and experience our day with him, we loved him. He was very knowledgeable and caring. He always knew what he was doing and every move was for a reason. We never got stuck. He knew exactly what to do at every point f the trip. He also explained to us everything he did and everything everyone else was doing or how they got stuck and stuff that we might be curious about. he also gave us advanced warning if there was something coming up we should know and prepare for so we were there with our "game faces" and ready to go like "vikings". We just absolutely had a good time and would love to come back end of may when he told us it would be even more exciting and we would love nothing more than to have Frank again. he definitely seems like a hard working man with many jobs trying to have some fun at the same time as working hard. he kept us feeling safe and never questioning him. We are just very grateful for the experience and look forward to doing it with you guys again. We wish we could experience our thankfulness more for everyone. Even the other guide (I blieve Jason) who went with the other group that didn't speak English was very nice and respectful to us. The equipment was even very good and the rafts also. Thanks again,

My father-in-law and I joined you for a day of rafting last week on July 3rd. It was my first white water rafting and we both had a great time. If you are looking for a great experience on a white water rafting trip, look no further. Our family of 4 enjoyed a tremendous day of rafting the Hudson. Their equipment is top notch. The rafts, wet suits, helmets were all in pristine shape. What really makes the difference though, is the staff. The management and guides of North Creek are outstanding. Joe, Mark and Becky were tremendous hosts. It's clear that they want you to have fun and encourage you to do so. It's true that there are some serious parts of the river, and those were managed very professionally. On the other sections, it was all about enjoying the beautiful scenery and the river. We'll be back again.

Hello, Just wanted to take a second and say thank you. I did the Hudson river trip today (3 May) with Mark as the guide. From the second I pulled into your parking area staff was available, ready to answer questions and point me in the right direction. This was the case the entire day. Your staff was always friendly, intelligent and professional. Mark did an exceptional job patiently providing direction to all rafters and filling the idle time with all kinds of stories and interesting tidbits of info. I know next to nothing about rafting gear but everything issued seemed to function well and it inspired trust, it screamed top notch safety. I'm typically a picky eater, do not like black beans, guacamole or sweet potatoes. In an effort to be polite, I ate the southwestern wrap provided at lunch and it was terrific. I'm not claiming to be a convert but your menu got me rethinking these ingredients (the cookies were awesome too). Your organization is top notch. It is apparent you care about your customers and their experience more than the bottom line. Thank you for the experience, the hospitality and for doing what you do. Respectfully,

Hi Nate, Becky, and Emilee, Thank you for a great first-time experience! We were so excited about this trip and it met all our expectations that we are sure to go rafting again. I was a little nervous with two daughters being age 9 and 11. The instruction beforehand, the proper gear, and Emilee's guide calls kept us all safe. It was a lot of fun to get out of the raft and swim a bit and to stop for a tasty lunch. Everyone in our party had fun hitting the whitewater and the professional photos captured all the right moments!

Hi Nate & Brian, We just wanted to let you what a blast we had on the "high" waters of the Hudson on our honeymoon trip with you guys on June 13th! The ride was so much fun and the scenery was spectacular. We've already recommended you to a number of friends who will be vacationing in the Adirondacks this summer, as well as telling our host in Lake George to simply take down all the other flyers, because you guys are first class all the way! We actually stopped by Café Sarah to grab sandwiches for dinner after the awesome ones we had for lunch on the river with you!

I just wanted to take a few minutes to say what an amazing time we all had whitewater rafting on Saturday, June 4, 2011! Your rafting equipment is top notch, your staff was friendly and professional, and we LOVED Frank! He was such a great river guide! He was knowledgeable, funny, and took some great photos of us on the raft. He really gave us a great day with memories to last a lifetime. We had such a blast and the spot he chose for lunch was beautiful. A few years ago, I went rafting with another company on the Hudson River and it was a terrible experience. The staff was very unprofessional and were groping at some of the females in my group. We were very uncomfortable and crossed rafting the Hudson off the list. I decided to go back again this year though and went with your company. I'm so glad I did! I would highly recommend your company to anyone that asked about rafting. I already wrote about it in my Facebook Photo Album (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.594970422662.2094391.32102381&l=d4161b393e). By the way, we also loved the photos taken of us in the Narrows. The CD came quickly and there were so many shots taken! Normally when I go rafting I get only one picture and someone always manages to be behind someone else. My fiance and I already picked out 2 pictures for the slideshow playing at our wedding.
I would like to go on to say that I loved that we were the only raft in our group. It was great to just raft the river without having to keep stopping so everyone could catch up. I have been whitewater rafting for 11 years now and this was by far the best experience!

Just wanted to send you a note to thank you and your team for an excellent rafting experience this past Saturday. You had us kitted out in all the right gear for a great day on the river. We were all grateful for the wetsuits as it allowed us to swim at various times even though the water was "fresh". The whole team was friendly and fun and the experience was excellent. Everyone in our group had a brilliant time & David was a really good guide, very experienced & calm when we might have thought the rapids were testing! Thank you all very much!

We totally lucked out when my brother chose your group from a random Web search - since one of my daughters is a vegetarian, it was the mention of vegetarian lunches that caught his attention. Our vacation to the northeast has sadly come to an end. It was a fantastic trip full of memorable moments. I just wanted to say THANKS again for a wonderful rafting trip. By the end of the day, I was very tired and don't think I was able to express my gratitude to you for such a great experience as I would have liked to. Becky (and Justin) were fantastic guides! It was an incredible experience for all of us, and for the young ones, I'm especially happy for that. Thanks again. My wife and I had a great experience rafting with you two weeks ago on August 5, and for that we thank you very much. Since that time, I have been constantly bugged by my wife for what I remember about the contents of our delicious lunch. Now, as a guy, I really didn't pay that much attention to what was in the wrap, just enjoyed it. If Becky would be so kind, I would really appreciate a recipe or just a list of the ingredients. Nate...our trip went off yesterday without a hitch, David as our trusty guide. A wonderful time was had by all and we're already thinking about planning a trip for August with "the boys". Our lunches were delicious, the water was thrilling and even the forecasted gloomy weather turned beautiful as the day went on. Our group had a blast this weekend with you guys. The river and weather were not at their best but that didn’t keep you guys from showing us a great trip. I can say that because we have been doing this trip for the past 7 years and had our share of bad times with and because of other rafting companies. Your gear was well kept and in great condition as one would expect unless of course you had gone to other companies. The guides were well informed, personable, and cool to hang out with for 4 hours on the river. One thing that should not be overlooked or underrated is the KICK A$$ vegan burritos and the chocolate mint chocolate chip cookies you served for our mid trip break. This was actually better than some of the post rafting meals we had received from companies in the past. I could go on and on but basically I wanted to let you and your staff at North Creek Rafting are doing it the right way. I know this because we have been with people doing it the wrong way. Keep up the great work, see you next year. April 16th for 14 people if you have the book ready.

Good Moring Nate and Becky- Wow! My daughter and I had a terrific time rafting with your company last Saturday! This was the first time down the river for both of us, she is thirteen so of course “fear” is not a word she is familiar with, I on the other hand was very nervous and did not know what I was in for. It took me just a few minutes to get over my fear, and to totally enjoy the experience. We are already planning our next trip and trying to talk everyone we know into joining us, you may need more rafts!!

My friends and I can't stop talking about how much fun we had yesterday, and how fun Heather was. It was neat for me because I have been bugging my friends for a while to go rafting, and that was the group I came up with. It was a bunch of random friends, most of whom didn't know each other! So it was awesome to have a great experience like that that brought great people all together! We loved it, and can't wait to come again.

Thank you so much for that recipe. I am very excited to try it. It is very evident to me that I chose the perfect rafting company for us. I had previously called about three other companies, and googled at least 15 before deciding to go with you. When speaking to you on the phone it became evident that you knew a lot more about rafting in the North Creek area and that you were laid back, relaxed, and hospitable, three things I found very important.

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for a great first rafting experience for our family. We just received the photo in the mail yesterday and we've been meaning to send along this letter since our adventure on August 21.

We had a fabulous time and the personal attention shown by you, Rebecca, and Eric made it so much more enjoyable. We watched the other companies and the way they packed their rafts and were on top of one another throughout the trip; that isn't what we experienced.

We specifically wanted to send along a little something for Eric for showing us such a great day and making it a fun experience for us and the kids. Can you please give this to him and thank him for us.
