Raft Guide Bio of Brian Conway

Brian began his whitewater career in 1997 as a kayak instructor, teaching hundreds of students each summer, and leading trips to various river destinations in New England and eastern Canada. It wasn't until 2004 that Brian began guiding rafts trips; finding a welcome relief from all those instructional hours in a kayak.

Over the next few years Brian guided for several outfitters in the area, but it wasn't until Nate and Becky started North Creek Rafting Company, he found himself a permanent whitewater employer. When asked why he chose to work for NCRC Brian states, "These guys are the best in the business, they're outfitted with the latest top-notch gear, and serve the needs of their clients with enthusiasm and professionalism."

When Brian's not working his real job on the river, he likes to spend his spare time teaching high school.
