MOOSE RIVER
13 miles - Class IV-V
April

Rafting the Moose River is intense. Experience is a must as there are some critical moves that require precise maneuvering of the raft. There's no time to learn how to paddle on the Moose, the trip starts off with 3 long difficult rapids, Iron Bridge, Tannery and Rooster Tail. Then it's on to the big drops, Froth Hole, Mixmaster, and Elevator Shaft. Trip ends just before Fowlerville Falls.

Previous rafting experience is requested on this challenging run. Paddlers will be required to make critical moves in quick succession. We reserve the right to move trips to the Hudson or Boreas if river levels are too high, too low, or if participants don't have adequate experience.
